Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in posting things. We were away in Seoul last weekend, and this week there's been a schedule change so we are working multiple overtime classes. On the bright side, we took a lot of photos and videos in Seoul and we're hoping to get some posts together over the next weekend.  For now, please enjoy the latest snack reviews! ☺ Darda: Gourmet Popcorn, Garlic Butter    ★ ★ ☆ ☆ This might seem like a boring pick, and I understand, but I couldn't resist this one. We were interested to try some garlic butter-flavored popcorn, because garlic+butter is an American staple that I sorely miss. Though garlic is easy to find, butter is very expensive. A single stick of butter here is around W 8,000-9,000 which is like $7-8. It's something we've decided we will just give up while we are here. Needless to say, butter flavoring here is a far, far cry from the real deal. So much so that these were just unpalatable for me. Flavor: ...

The highly anticipated and (hopefully) exciting apartment building tour! 😅😁 Part II coming next week. Enjoy! Again, sorry for the wind. It's not usually that windy here, we just picked a bad day to film things outside.  Also we wanted to clarify about all of the empty spaces in our building. We are sort of on the southern edge of Sejong and it's not super populated here--our building isn't totally full of tenants in the apartment portion either. Also about 90% of the business that these stores and restaurants are getting are from those big government buildings next to us/the government workers. And they only work Monday through Friday, going home to their families in Seoul on the weekends, so it is really quiet here on the Saturday/Sunday. Once Sejong becomes more populated we expect this will change, but for now things are pretty empty in the building.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since our last official update post, so we wanted to take this time to let you know how we're doing, how work is going, what we've learned about Korea, and share some more miscellaneous photos ☺ First of all- Wow. Sam and I can't believe that October is now over and we're in November. It's crazy to think that two months has already passed and we only have 10 more left on our contract! We still have so much left to explore and do, I think we are just hoping we can do it all with the time we've got. How is life? Sejong. Life is great! We are loving Sejong. It may be a city under construction with lots of changes to come, but it has everything we need. Even with the weather getting colder, we have been enjoying taking walks along the rivers and roads. Construction All over Sejong you will see construction. The city is still being built and you can see it grow day by day. Everyday on our way to work we pass several constructions zones including this on that is just outside or our building. We enjoy walking by this new building because it reminds us of how long we have been here and how much progress we have made. The advertisement for the building says there will be Dunkin Donuts so we are excited about that. This is a construction site that just went up and it is right in front of our bus stop when we go to work. it will be fun to see the progress on this building too. As you walk around you will see empty spaces that will be future sites for construction and new buildings. These sites will have 10ft walls surrounding them and they usually have pictures of what is going to be built or the name of the stores that will be put in.
